We have had a lot of interest with our investigators wanting to play soccer. We decided to organize a time last week. About 20 people showed up. It was a great success. We shared a message and then ended with a prayer. The only problem was that there was only 1 member there. He is less active. At church we spoke to the priesthood about it yesterday. Hopefully, more people should show up this week. I am hopeful of the potential growth in this area.
We have an investigator that we have taught twice. He really likes our church and the members (his bosses). Now he wants to get baptized. Also, we had a family come up to us in Walmart. They recently moved to the area. They have a son that needs to get baptized (for the English Sisters). Guillermo, the investigator that the Elders in Pingree are teaching will be baptized soon (I taught him on exchanges, and he is doing great!). There is a lot of people ready to receive the gospel right now.
This scripture comes to mind: “Verily, verily, I say unto you, if you desire a further witness, cast your mind upon the night that you cried unto me in your heart, that you might know concerning the truth of these things. Did I not speak peace to your mind concerning the matter? What greater witness can you have than from God?” D&C 6:22-23. All I have to do is read through some of those chapters, namely Alma 42, Ether 3, 2 Nephi 32, Mormon 9, and the same witness comes back every time.
Hope you have a good week,
